1.What are the dimensions of the unit?
Our fleet tracking unit is 1 3/4 inches wide x 2
1/8 inches long x 1 inch high

When the vehicle is running the unit will report
every 30-45 seconds.

The lights can be covered up very easily and this
has no effect on the device's performance

Yes there is a one year warranty on the device
7. Can I view the tracking from my phone?
Yes, there is a mobile version of the geomoto
application that can be viewed from any mobile phone with internet connectivity.
8. Can I create a custom report?
Yes, we have reports available that export to a
.csv file (excel document, word document, etc.)
9. My trucks are several years old. Can I still install
it?
The device displayed on our site can be installed
in any vehicle manufactured 1996 or later. There is a government mandate for all
vehicles manufactured at this date or later to have the exact OBD port in the
vehicle. For older vehicles please see question below.
10. What if I don't have an OBD port on my vehicles?
We do have another device available for older
vehicles. Please call for more information
11. Can I get email alerts for speeding vehicles or
other triggers?
Yes, you have options to get email alerts for
speeding, if device is unplugged, geofence crossings and more.
12. Can I view my vehicles from any internet enabled PC?
Yes, you can as long as it is connected to the
internet. Of course it is worth noting that the faster the connection speed, the
faster our software will run. So, for example, broadband will be much faster
than a dial-up connection.

13. Will I receive free software updates/upgrades?
Yes! Plus, because our software is web-based you
don't have to worry about CDs and installing upgrades, they appear when you
login.
14. Is this a satellite-based vehicle tracking system?
Yes, Meaning, the tracking unit is located by
Satellite and sends the information to our servers via the GPRS Data Network.
15. Is the geomoto software GPS based?
Yes, vehicle locations and times are pinpointed
from the Global Position System satellites and relayed to our data centers over
the GPRS network in real time.
16. Do your units work anywhere in the World?
Yes. Everywhere in all countries provided the GSM is avaliable for data transfer to server.

17. Is there an external antenna that attaches to your
device?
No. the Antenna is internal within the device.
18. Does the device need to be recharged at any time
after connected?
No, the device is charged by the vehicle and never
needs to be charged after it is installed
19. What type of mapping does geomoto use?
geomoto uses Google mapping which includes a
standard map, satellite, and hybrid (lays map over satellite image).
20. What happens if the device is unplugged by one of my
drivers?
You will get a "Device Offline" notification in the application
and it will also be recorded in your application when and where this happened.
